Oak Balcony Staircase Combo

An oak balcony staircase combo combines a first-floor balcony and external staircase into one bespoke oak structure. The balcony, staircase, posts and balustrade are designed together rather than as separate elements, creating a cleaner structure and a consistent architectural appearance.

One Structural Frame

The balcony and staircase can share oak posts, beams and foundations, depending on the layout. The design considers the complete load path from the balcony and staircase through the timber frame and into the supporting structure. For larger projects, an engineer can determine the required beam sizes, connections and foundations.
