Pavillion review

I do not usually review items i have bought but this purchase was
so exceptional i felt compelled to do so.
My pavillion was bespoke, made to the overall sizes and layout plan
I submitted to Timber Solution. The company was very tolerant
and patient despite my many tweaks and alterations. They produced
a very detailed set of drawings showing every component and
outlining how the structure fitted together.
When the pavillion was delivered, on time, it was truly a piece of high
class engineering. You would expect on a one-off design of this size
there would be one or two elements that need final adjustments and
alterations. There were no adjustments needed at all. Every piece was
clearly labelled and fitted together perfectly.
It was straightforward to assemble and two people with a reasonable
amount of DIY skill could carry out the task without expensive equipment
The finished product looks amazing and i would have no hesitation
in recommending this company

I decided to get an small patch of land behind my garage a makeover. It was just a potato patch that had seen better days. What I wanted to achieve was an outdoor kitchen and with that a sturdy oak framed cover. After many weeks of searching I came across Timber Solutions and discussed my project with Val. I must say my first impressions were that of professionalism and detail. We went through a couple of designs and finally settled on one. Well the structure is up and it looks fantastic. My guys, who built the frame, said that this is a very good structure and it was relatively simple to put up. For me it is the realisation of a goal that was 18 months in the making and boy, am I a very Happy Chappy. Many thanks Val. I will upload pictures later when the kitchen is fully completed.

I only generally review if something is very good or very bad. Fortunately this is in the former category.
When I set out to replace the external oak stairs to my garage / annex, there is always a little anxiety dealing with a company that is a fair distance away. Will they do the job, will my money be safe etc. Well I need not have worried as Val at Timbersolution did a fantastic job, and at a competitive price. He was prompt with my initial enquiry, and had plans drawn up within a few days. Throughout the process he was always available to discuss any issues, and the staircase was ready as arranged.
My builders, who assembled the staircase, were impressed by the quality of the construction, and I am delighted with the end result.

I wanted a good quality, chunky, solid oak pergola and did a lot of research before deciding to go with Val and Timber Solutions. The price point was very competitive and the communication from Val was great from start to finish. It was customisable to the overall size and dimensions of posts I wanted. It was manufactured and delivered to the time frame advised on placing the order. The added details or the champers really made it extra special. My fitter also complimented the ease of errection and the system used.
All in all, a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a special focal point pergola in their garden.

There are many companies offering oak structures, so making the tight choice is daunting.

The oak pergola is a beautiful addition to our garden. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome and feel it is great value compared to other suppliers.

Val was excellent to deal with. Communications were prompt and very clear, Val always tries to be available. The delivery team Val uses are also excellent, top communication and turned up as scheduled.

All round a really positive experience.

Highly recommended. My pergola design was not the most traditional as it was a difficult trapezoid shape with all sorts of lengths and angles. Not a problem for Val! His design, consultation and service was second to none. The product quality is superb. The build, tho tricky in parts, was easy to follow and as a result, we have a perfect construction. Really can't thank Val enough for his expertise, guidance and product delivery.

We are very happy with our two gazebos. An excellent service from Val, who was always on hand throughout both the design & build process. In our case, we had to organise our own build team & get involved with the inevitable aspects of the detail & snags & in our case, sourcing & fitting the EPDM roof. The end result is excellent! Really cannot fault in anyway the service from Timber solution. Val from the start was great to deal with. Any changes I needed no problem. Delivery time exactly when he said it would be. Any questions answered quickly. Putting it together just looked at the design and matched the numbers stapled to all the parts. With the aid of two lift genies I put it up on my own. Extremely happy with the finished pergola. Looking forward to the oak ageing over time. Would recommend Timber solution to everyone, and would definitely use Timber solution again.

Lovely Oak frame Pergola and a matching swing frame made bespoke. Great to deal with Val with clear communication and prompt replies. I was kept up to date with progress during manufacture with some images sent to check progress in the factory.

I can’t recommend Val from Timber Solutions enough. We had a tricky project in that we wanted to install oak trusses to an existing room. Val created a fantastic design and then recommended an installer to carry out the work. Val spoke with the installer in the lead up to installation to ensure everything was designed and manufactured correctly allowing for good installation. We are beyond thrilled with the installed trusses.

Timber Solutions is an excellent company to work with, from start to finish with our project.
Val has a great understanding for design, and was so helpful with regards to our oak staircase project. The finished product and quality is absolutely fantastic.
To also mention, we received plenty of help, loading the stair case onto our rental truck, from the timber yard when we arrived to collect it.

Val produced a King Post Truss in oak for us from my design in sketchup and as verified by our structural engineers calculations. We made a number of minor adjustments to the design along the way, all of which Val accommodated and confirmed with revised drawings for confirmation. I do like dealing with a small company like Val's where the person you speak to is the person doing the job and he knows what he's talking about. We elected to collect the truss disassembled in/on our van for ease of transportation (oak is heavy!) and re-assemble on site. The components all fitted perfectly (but do drill the male part of the mortice and tenon joints from both sides to avoid the drill wandering off line) I hired a genie SLA15 locally to lift it into place. All in all the process went smoothly with Val available, even on his days off, to give advice and assistance. I was swayed by the good reviews I read before selecting timber solutions and they were not wrong. Thankyou Val - you did a good job for us and I would definitely use your company again.

What A great firm to work with, they were so professional from start to finish.
